Vietnam’s cocoa currently concentrates mainly in 15 provinces in the Central Highlands, Southeast and the Mekong River Delta. Cocoa area under harvest accounts for about 70% and intercropping area accounts for over 90%. The Central Highlands and South East regions are mainly intercropped with cashew trees, while in the Mekong Delta intercropped coconut and fruit trees.
